Nice restaurant. Very good food. Clean toilets. The only drawback: If there is a lot going on in summer, you as a guest may be overlooked when you want to order dessert. Then left without dessert. Nevertheless we will come again. :-)

We went for dinner on 10/10/20 with 5 people. Friendly staff, rustic ambience and great food. Price-performance ratio top. With a little less on the plate, no one should complain. Gladly again

After an order was complained about regarding the quality of the meat, the owner (acceptance, did not introduce himself personally) was extremely unfriendly and described the complaint as "wrong". Apparently one is not capable of criticism and is inaccessible to feedback from guests. The rump steak ordered as an alternative, however, was good and inexpensive. Very friendly and personable waiter at the table, who also brought the bill.

Important to read to the end !! Actually I had assumed that it would be very touristy. We were absolutely thrilled. The staff were super friendly and made a joke and the food ... I think I can rightly say that it was more than delicious and very plentiful. The Wolpertinger Platte was a dream and at a very fair price!

Very tasty and highly recommended. The portions are large and there is something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is great! The conditions are all very friendly and very attentive. The tables, the menu and even the chairs are disinfected after each guest, which I have not seen in any other restaurant in the last few days! Big compliments to the whole workforce!

Unfortunately, these reviews are incomprehensible to me. We went to eat there tonight and the taste was just terrible. I had the baked chicken with french fries and I got a huge breadcrumb crust in which you really had to look for the meat. That also for a price that is definitely not appropriate for this food. My friend absolutely didn't like it tonight either. It's a shame, as the restaurant is really nicely decorated. Unfortunately not recommended for us.

Very large portions for a fair price. Nice ambience and very friendly service! Only to be recommended if you are in the area. If parking spaces are no longer available directly in front of the door, there is sufficient space in the side street.

Were eating in Wolpertinger today and are thrilled. The food was delicious. The waitresses are super friendly. We felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the restaurant.

I can only give five stars. The food is awesome. The service is super nice and tried very hard. Very careful with the Corona requirements (table, chairs and even the candle jar are disinfected after each guest). Absolutely recommendable.

Perfect service, VERY CLEAN, excellent beer and good down-home cooking. All in all a great evening.

Traditional Bavarian cuisine with huge portions, very friendly service. Don’t miss their home made dark beer, btw they got a world champion prize for this beer and I can confirm the taste is incredible, with some notes of buckwheat.

Booked and confirmed for Xmas Eve, but only discover it was closed when reached there on a Xmas Eve! Found out they just decided to close last minute n couldn't inform international contact number. Could have WhatsApp earlier

This place is AMAZING! The food is outstanding and Mrs. Nette was super kind. She took pictures for us, was very patient with our +70 old friend and recommended superb dishes. I'll definitely come back.

Terrible. We waited for over an hour, everyone else got served but us. When I finally asked she said it was on it's way. The food was terribly bland, they never apologized for the delay and we paid 100 euro. Not worth it at all.

Great place to eat

Good food, very helpful and friendly staff. They provided a free water cup for my 1 year old, and a child seat so he can sit at the table instead of staying in his stroller.

We were received very friendly and accompanied to our table. The service was very nice. Both the drinks and the food were delivered very fast. About food I can not say anything bad. The portions were very large and very delicious. A very cozy tavern with very good food, definitely worth a visit.

Very authentic atmosphere. Intriguing flair of a slightly off-beat place out in the mountains. A few original local specialties and vintage south-Bavarian interior design. Definitely a good place to spend an evening for couples and small groups visiting Garmisch.

Great staff, great food, great beer

We called in advance for vegetarian food and asked for fondue. They said yes. We took 3 hungry little kids on a 15 minute walk to get there. We sat down only to be very rudely told that we would have had to have ordered beforehand if we wanted fondue. Then why did they say they had it!? Moreover, rather than be apologetic they couldn't be bothered. Anyway.

The owners/staff were super lively, fun, helpful and the meal was perfect.
